Meet the Humans Behind Wag Flags

We're Kas and Jo - two dog-obsessed South Australians who created Wag Flags because we needed it ourselves.

It started with a problem.

We've been there.

The awkward moment when another dog comes barreling toward yours - and you're desperately shouting "He's not friendly!" from 10 meters away.

The guilt when your reactive rescue lunges at a friendly dog because you didn't get enough warning.

The frustration when your perfectly friendly dog gets avoided because people assume all big dogs are aggressive.

Walking our dogs should feel joyful and stress-free. But for so many Australian dog owners, it doesn't.

That's why we created Wag Flags.

A Simple System Everyone Understands

We knew there had to be a better way. Something visual. Something universal. Something anyone could understand without a word spoken.

Red means stop. Orange means caution. Green means go.

It's intuitive - like traffic lights for dog walking.

We designed flags large enough to see from 20+ meters away, waterproof enough for Australian weather, and easy enough to swap in seconds.

No complicated systems. No confusing symbols.

Just three bright colors that give everyone the information they need to make safer decisions

Safer Walks for Every Dog Owner

Australians love to walk their dogs. That's millions of daily walks. Millions of interactions. Millions of opportunities for miscommunication.

We believe every dog deserves a safe, stress-free walk - whether they're reactive, in training, or the friendliest pup on the block.

Wag Flags levels the playing field. It gives dog owners control. It reduces anxiety. It prevents incidents before they happen.

And it builds community.

Because when dog owners can communicate clearly, everyone wins. Reactive dogs get the space they need. Friendly dogs get the social time they crave. Nervous dogs build confidence at their own pace.

Our Values

Dog Safety First

Everything we design starts with one question: Does this make walks safer for dogs and their owners?

Community Education

The more people who understand the Wag Flags system, the safer every walk becomes. We're committed to spreading awareness through trainers, councils, and dog communities

Australian Quality

We design for Australian conditions - hot summers, beach walks, unpredictable weather. Our flags are built to last.

Accessible for All

Dog walking safety shouldn't be expensive. We keep our prices fair so every dog owner can afford clear communication.

Designed in Aldinga Beach

We're locals. Born and raised on the Fleurieu Peninsula, where beach walks and dog-friendly trails are part of daily life.

Wag Flags is designed right here in Aldinga Beach, tested on South Australian dogs, and built with our community in mind.

When you support Wag Flags, you're supporting a local small business that genuinely cares about making dog walking safer for everyone.

Be Part of the Solution

Every Wag Flags purchase helps grow a safer, more connected dog-walking community across Australia.

The more people who use Wag Flags, the more universal the system becomes. Together, we can create a future where every dog walk feels safe, stress-free, and joyful.
