Your Questions, Answered

About the Product

What size are the flags?

Each flag measures 30cm x 40cm - large enough to be seen from 20+ meters away, but not so big it's cumbersome on walks.

Are the flags waterproof?

Yes! Wag Flags are made from 210T nylon with PU coating, making them fully waterproof and built for Australian weather. Rain, beach trips, muddy trails - they hold up.

How do I clean the flags?

Cold hand wash only with mild soap. Air dry - do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Do the flags fade in the sun?

The fabric is UV-resistant, so colours stay bright even with regular use. With heavy sun exposure over time, some fading may occur, but the colors remain recognisable.

What are the leads made from?

Our leads are made from durable nylon webbing with reinforced stitching at stress points. They're designed to withstand daily use and last for years.

How it Works

Will other dog owners understand what the flags mean?

The color system is intuitive - red means stop, orange means caution, green means go - just like traffic lights. We're also building awareness through dog trainers, councils, and community groups. The more people who use Wag Flags, the more universal it becomes!

Can I use the flags with my existing lead?

No, the Wag Flags are designed to attach specifically to our leads with reinforced velcro attachment points. Our leads are built to hold the flags securely during walks and ensure they don't slip or fall off.

How do I attach the flag to my lead?

Super easy. Slide the velcro strap through the flag's grommet, wrap it around your lead near the handle, and press the velcro together. Takes about 5 seconds. Check out our How It Works page for a full tutorial.

What if my dog's needs change during the walk?

That's why we offer multi-flag bundles! Carry your spare flag in the storage bag and swap it out in seconds. Morning energy? Green flag. Afternoon tired? Red flag. Training moment? Orange flag. You've got options.

Choosing the Right Set

Which set should I buy?

It depends on your needs:

What's the difference between the 1.2m and 1.5m leads?

Just the length. The 1.2m lead is standard for most dogs. The 1.5m lead offers extra reach - great for larger breeds or owners who prefer more space.

Can I choose which colours I get?

Yes! During checkout, you'll select your flag colour(s) from red, orange, or green.
